As we welcome Tracey Welch to our team; we discover more about this talented Photographer......
The art of photography is something to be admired, and a skill that relatively few have the capability to refine. The symbiosis that Tracey Welch manages to achieve through her education and ability reflects in the images that she captures for the music and corporate industry.
The passion that fuels many successful individuals was harboured within Tracey from an early age, and nurtured through substantial education, cumulating in a degree a masters in photography.
Tracey has striven to create an eclectic portfolio of work, reflecting her passion and professionalism. The Arctic Monkeys, Groove Armada and U2 are among just a few of the many music professionals that she has photographed along with her increasing number of blue chip and public sector clients.
Not only content with remaining indoors, the intrepid freelancer explorers the benefits of photographing festivals and arenas, including Leeds and Glastonbury, where she captures the raw essence of a performance through her awe inspiring images.
Tracey was recently commissioned through Laura International to work for Seven Seas and Lyons. Through the texture, character and lustre of the photographs, they helped build brand awareness through the public’s need for visual imagery.
Ascribing only to heightened moments intrinsic integrity, Tracey defines through her images what is real, recently working to increase awareness of Sheffield City Council’s ‘Off the Shelf’ initiative.
As a result of her talent Tracey has been signed to one of the world’s top photography agencies, Retna, and her work has been featured in publications such as The Guardian, The Observer and NME. Through her recent involvement with an exciting, contemporary business her work will be highlighted in the March edition of the world renowned Vogue Magazine.
This Sheffield based freelance photographer has accomplished what many fellow professionals may achieve in an entire career. Full of entrepreneurial flair, creativity and a dedication to her work, Tracey has now set her sights on conquering social media with the launch of a blog, Twitter account and a Facebook page.
Here are a few examples of her work - and with competitive rates for unsigned bands its well worth contacting Tracey to help you create those all important promo shots.
